€1.2m grant brings Ballina Arts Centre a step closer

FUNDING of €1.2million has been approved by the Department of Arts, Sports and Tourism for the longoverdue Ballina Arts Centre and Theatre. However, a total of €2.6 million was required for the new centre and the board of directors will now have to seek additional revenue to make up the shortfall.
