Thanks for medical help
SIR – I should like to use your columns to thank everyone in Galway and Mayo who helped us when my wife suffered a heart attack while we were on holiday in Keel, Achill Island.
Not only the nurses, doctors, and other hospital staff at Galway University Hospital, Mayo General Hospital in Castlebar, but also HSE staff and doctors on Achill, and the several caravan site wardens/owners who were all so helpful and kind. A big thank you to you all.
My wife is now well on the road to recovery and is now safely back home in Gretna. Everyone was so helpful and kind, and it removed a big worry from my shoulders to know that my wife was in such capable hands. Thank you all so much.
Yours sincerely
Daniel Muir, 20 Border Crescent, Gretna, DG16 5JZ Scotland
